AbstractThe higher prevalence of frontal sinus fractures occur in young male patients involved in car accidents. The fracture may affect the anterior wall and/or posterior, with or without involvement of the naso-frontal duct. The treatment of these fractures is extremely important because of the anatomical relationship of the sinus with the anterior cranial fossa and the roof of orbit. The surgery aims to restore function, aesthetics and prevent complications such as meningitis, encephalitis and pyocele. The best treatment to achieve these goals is with a proper diagnosis, focusing on physical examination associated with imaging.
