Notions and their referents: context of religious study

The article is devoted to the conceptual points and solutions' clarification of a number of heuristic problems of modern theories of references. A thesis is suggested that denotation is just one of the aspects of theory of references. Reference in its broad meaning includes semantic, emotional, sacral meanings. On the basis of E.
