Abstract: Background and aim: Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is one of the most common neurodegenerative diseases and is closely associated with impaired insulin signaling and glucose metabolism in the brain. Ziziphora tenuior exhibits antidiabetic effects and antioxidant and memory augmenting properties.
