The Health of Family from Sociological Viewpoint

The goal of this research was to introduce the family health and its condition in Tehran city. Family subject and its health are two important issues that sociologist and psychologist have to pay attention them. First, in this research according to available foundations comments on family health, six factors have been introduced. The factors are: empathy, independency of family members, satisfaction of family members, supporting the needs of family, solidarity of family, and Islamic/ethical values in the family. The study of family health according to six factors in Iran showed that the family health in 6 percent (or 22 people) of sampling research is weak. Also, family health in 66 percent (or 241 people) is moderate and in 28 percent (or 104 people) is high. The method of analysis in this research is descriptive
