The main reason for the failure of endodontic treatment and its most common pathology, apical periodontitis, are microorganisms combined into a biofilm. Qualitatively performed chemo-mechanical treatment of root canals is the key factor affecting the prognosis of endodontic disease. The application of the protocol with the final activation of the irrigant provides an opportunity to effectively clean the walls of the root canal before sealing.
