A «experiência do jesuíta em aldeia» na epistolografia de António Vieira

By following the prescriptions of the Society of Jesus and the precepts of the epistolary genre, the letters of priest António Vieira, written between 1626 and 1697, deal with several questions that are covered by various texts of the seventeenth century and relate to political, economic, legal, military and religious problems related to the Portuguese Empire. In this documentary body, this work has the purpose of analyzing how the topic of experience was mobilized in a specific way according to the objectives and prescriptions of the text in which it is inserted, but also how it is found in a same system of conceptual correspondences which involved various discursive types. From this, we will observe how Vieira used the experience associating it to the space of the village and the conduction of the Indians to the Portuguese hierarchical social bod
