In the article the main stages and reasons of becoming and development are examined consumer - co-operative societies on North Caucasus. An author comes to the conclusion, that they had sources in the system of samoorganizacii of Ukrainian cossack village societies of Kuban, from the environment of which representatives went out Ukrainian nationally - cultural motion of inhabitants of this region. With the attempts of the Ukrainian association to find combination of activity of activists of this motion the special way of output from under economic exploitation.
