Tibor Halasi-Kun; Hungarian Turcologist; worked as director and guest professor between the years 1943-1948 at the Institute of Hungarology at the Faculty of Humanities in Ankara. Halasi-Kun; who was taught by the world-famous Turcologist Gyula Németh; led numerous notable scientific and cultural projects in cooperation with various institutions while simultaneously carrying on his studies in this period. His works were entirely appropriate for main goals of the Faculty which was founded for the reappraisal of the Turkish history; language and culture.
