Transition to a market economy has brought increased interest in economic terminology the need for a definition used by economic categories, concepts; it is possible to allocate 6 groups of economic terms: the first group “popular” words and expressions of economic character. The second group consists of «popular economic terms», used in certain situations of an everyday life. The third group includes «economic cliches», stamps, sample expressions. The fourth group includes of units of a slang of this or that area of economy of economic terms. The fifth group of the economic lexemes is abbreviations. The sixth group of “economic entities” is made by phraseological units
