APPLICATIONS OF INTERNET IN DISTANCE EDUCATION: THE WEB PAGE OF THE APPLIED ECONOMICS AND ECONOMIC HISTORY DEPARTMENT OF UNED

The connection of computers to a net begun in the early 70ies aiming at academic targets related to research studies. But it is not until 1990, when the World Wide Web was named and the Internet phenomen got popular, that the usage in the teaching became plain. Being conscient of the importance of the introduction of all those technologies that improve methodology in distance education, our Department dessigned its Web page prompt.
