This article presents the characterizations of BaO.SrO.xFe2O3 and BaO.SrO.xFe3O4 (x= 5.6, 5.8, 6) hexaferrites. We have used hematite of analytical grade and magnetite from Cox’s Bazar beach sand mineral to prepare these samples. Structural characteristics of the compositions have been revealed by the Scanning Electron Microscopic (SEM) tests. Magnetic characterizations have been performed by the Vibrating Sample Magnetometer (VSM) test and Mossbauer spectroscopy. From VSM test, we have determined the hysteresis parameters of the samples. The Curie temperatures of those hexaferrites have been obtained from the temperature dependent magnetic moments.
