This study was conducted as a descriptive study in a state hospital surgical intensive care unit between 01 December 2016- 01 June 2017. The study’s universe consist of 454 patients in the state instensive care unit. The sample consist of 170 patients who agreed to participate in the study. Patient identification form and Enviromental Stressors Questionnire (ESQ) was used for collecting research data. The data were evaluated using the SPSS 18.0 program. Descriptive variables were presented with mean and persentage values.
