The Result of Using Web-based Learning with the Discovery Method and the Tutorial Model Toward Problem Solving Ability in Science, Sound and Hearing, Prothomsuksa 5 Students

The objectives of this research were to study: 1) the study with lessons on webbased learning with the Discovery Method and the Tutorial model, Toward to problem solving in science, sound and hearing, Prathomsuksa 5, student efficiency of 80/80 ; 2) to find effectiveness index of the students who learned with web-based learning with the discovery method and the Tutorial model ; 3) compare the problem solving ability pre-and post – outcome of the students who learned by web-based learning with the discovery method and the Tutorial model, science, sound and hearing ; 4) to compare achievement pre-and post-outcome of the students who learned by web-based learning with the discovery method and the tutorial model ; and 5) The population of study was Prathomsuksa 5 students of Watsanun School and then used cluster random sampling that got students at Watsanun School, The research tools were 1) web-based learning with the discovery method and the tutorial model, 2) learning management plan 3) test of learning achievement that had 4 types of answer options. 4) the student satisfaction test web-based learning with the discovery method that consisted of 20 items. The data statistics analysis were, used to describe percentage, mean, standard deviation and pairs sample t-test. The research found that 1. The web-based learning with the discovery method and the tutorial model, 83.25/83.00 และ 73.25/78.00 which met the standard criteria 80/80. 2. The effectiveness index of student who learned by the web-based learning with the discovery method and the tutorial model was 61 percent and 46 percent. 3. The ability of problem solving of students after learning by web-based learning with the to discovery method and the tutorial model, showed that an average score higher than before they learnt by web-based at the.05 level of significance. 4. The achievement of students after learning by web-based learning with the to discovery method and the tutorial model, showed that an average score higher than before they learnt by web-based at the.05 level of significance. 5. The students who learnt using web-based learning with the discovery method in science, sound and hearing, Pratomsuksa 5 students are satisfied with the number score 4.54 at the highest satisfaction level. In conclusion, the learning process and the web based learning with the discovery method that the researcher created was effective. The effectiveness can be proved by the students’ learning achievement and problem solving ability
