Abstract: This study aimed at investigating the effectiveness of a rehabilitative psychological social program for developing emotional intelligence among a sample of deaf students. The study also aimed at investigating the continuity of its effectiveness after the follow up period. The study included 69 students ranging from 9-13 years old serving as an experimental and a control group. Bar- on Emotional Quotient inventory translated by Agwa (2003) was administered before and after the intervention. The program lasted for three months. The data was treated using t-test and η2 .
