Introduction Squamous cell carcinoma of the lower lip represents 90% of all oral cancers and its incidence is increasing. Material and methods Our study focuses on two cases of patients with carcinoma of the lower lip, both men: first case, an 68 years old man, with chronic alcohol consumption, smoker (2 packs / day over 30 years), with partial edentation, from rural area, under chronic intermittent Miofilin treatment for COPD underwent a wide excision in the lower lip for ulcerative squamous cell carcinoma confirmed histologically.
