The article considers the issue of the cinematic potential of some prosaic expressionistic works written by L. Andreev. In “The Letters On Theatre” (1912-1913) the writer expressed his views on the problems of interaction between theatre, cinema and literature, emphasized the great role of cinematograph and predicted the phenomenon of the film script. Moreover, his close collaboration with the domestic cinema producers had influenced the poetics of his artistic works and therefore provoked future multiple screening of them.
