In the last years, Smart Grid applications and Renewable Energy Sources have grown strongly worldwide, particularly the photo-voltaic (PV) and wind energy conversion systems. However, PV cells and wind energy conversion requires to keep a constant DC voltage at a specific level during real-time variations of environmental conditions, such as temperature, radiation and wind speed. In view of this goal, a suitable control scheme topology is proposed in this study for power electronic converters.
