The need to support the SME sector is indicated both by scientists and the companies themselves, as well as the European Union. The support policy of EU offers the many forms of assistance essential for this group of entitles. The great significance for SME has financial support, that is reaction of state institutions for the market failure in access to finance. The aim of this article is to analyze the structure and forms of public support for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in 2007-2013 in Poland. Moreover the author on the basis of analysis attempts to summarize the types and values of support granted to micro , small and medium-sized enterprises
