ANALYSIS OF CARRYING CAPACITY OF ECCENTRIC COMPRESSED RE- INFORCED CONCRETE BLOCKS UNDER DIFFERENT VALUES OF ECCENTRICITIES OF LONGITUDINAL FORCES

The paper presents a theory for calculating eccentrically compressed concrete elements in the ultimate limit state of bearing capacity, taking into account all the possible stresses in the longitudinal reinforcement from RS to RSC, caused by different values of the eccentricity e of the longitudinal force N. Method of calculation is based on the simultaneous solution of the equilibrium equations of longitudinal forces and internal forces with equilibrium equations of bending moments.
