The paper presents a theory for calculating eccentrically compressed concrete elements in the ultimate limit state of bearing capacity, taking into account all the possible stresses in the longitudinal reinforcement from RS to RSC, caused by different values of the eccentricity e of the longitudinal force N. Method of calculation is based on the simultaneous solution of the equilibrium equations of longitudinal forces and internal forces with equilibrium equations of bending moments. The joint solution of the above as well as additional equations that reflect the stress-strain limit state elements makes it possible to obtain a higher convergence of the calculated bearing capacity with an experienced, as well as to enhance the durability and...
