In this paper, investigations were performed on a dual-fueled constant-speed engine. Initially, the emissions and performance of a diesel engine were investigated, and after moving to the dual-fuel engine, experimental tests were carried out under different loads (10, 25, 50, 75, and 100% of the full load) and pilot to gaseous fuel (PGF) ratios (30, 40, and 50%). The results showed that under different loads and PGF ratios, the emissions of nitrous oxides and particle materials in the dual mode were lower than those for the diesel engine, and that the difference was significant.
