Teacher Development by Educational Supervision Innovations for Increasing Learning Achievement of Schools under Office of The Basic Education Commission

The objectives of this research were: 1) to find the efficiency of action process in educational innovation, 2) to study the effect of usage in educational supervision innovation, and 3) to study teachers’ satisfaction on action process in educational innovation. The target group consisted of 122 teachers participating in innovation project for increasing learning achievement of schools, under jurisdiction of Office of The Basic Education Commission in 2017 academic year. The research design was Research and Development (R & D). The research instrument included 4 learning packages of educational supervision innovation. The Learning Package 1, was the educational quality development during the 21st century. The Learning Package 2, was the leader development by suggestions and coaching. The Learning Package 3, was the Excellent Supervision Clinic (ESC). The Learning Package 4, were the development of Professional Learning Community (PLC), the teaching observational form, the action record form, the learning achievement test with reliability of total issue = 0.84, and the satisfaction questionnaire with reliability of total issue = 0.93. The research findings found that 1) the findings of efficiency in action process of educational supervision innovation including 4 learning packages, the mean values were 90.11/88.48, 89.03/84.56, 86.05/85.60, and 88.93/84.84 respectively which were higher than the specified criterion 80/80, 2) the findings of usage in educational supervision innovation, the effectiveness index of teacher development, in overall of posttest, the teachers obtained higher level of knowledge than the pretest = 0.7946. It was indicated that the teachers obtained higher level of knowledge than the pretest = 79.46%. 3) The teachers’ satisfaction on action process of educational supervision innovation, was in “The Highest” level. The overall mean was = 4.58, and standard deviation was = 0.48
