This paper presents the results of master’s degree work in which tried to analyze the teaching practices of teachers group of social sciences in an educational institution where to attend students from sectors of high social vulnerability, the same with intend to develop critical thinking and citizenship in the students. Descriptive research whose data were collected through the application of semi-structured interviews and focus groups; this results, although the practices is framed in the traditional and the constructivist, the student attends routines where the reproductive predominates, for that reason the development of the critical thinking and the citizen competences are approached as specific subjects in a certain moment of the acad...
