In Space exploration, plants will play a crucial role, not only for resource regeneration, but also as food resource. Ionizing radiation represents a key constraint for plant growth and photosynthesis in space interacting with many developmental processes. At very low doses, ionizing radiation may induce some positive effects related on plant physiological and morphological traits.
