Algeria is one of the largest energy-producing and exporting countries in the world. This has been achieved through the implementation of strategies and policies to promote the economic, social and environmental utilization of energy resources. However, the efforts and policies deployed have not yet placed the country in its proper place with regard to the diversification of energy sources.
