The article tells about the experimental researches for determination the carrying capacity and identificationthe most successful arch construction, consisted from small timber bricks, strung together on two steel cables. While pulling cables from the mainstay area, the bricks garland transformed to double joint brick-cable arch. Three different constructive schemes of this arch were tested and each of themwas loadedby the concentrated force at its top region. Graphics force-deformationwereplotted as the results of the tests. It was determined such construction of the brick-cable arch, as was comparable to the glued laminated timber arch by its carrying capacity
