Discussing about the spread of viruses of tomato in Viet Nam, presenting data on the species composition, describing the most malicious objects and features of their transfers, the author reported about the existence of 13 virus diseases on tomato in Vietnam currently, including Tomato yellow leaf curl virus (TYLCV). It is the most dangerous disease on tomato culture. The author also recommended some measures for reducing the severity of pathogens through working on selection resistant varieties to viruses, as well as developing an effective protection system against harmful organisms, including viral pathogens
