This study was conducted to investigate the perceptions of the faculty members of their present and future productivity in three areas: scholarship, teaching, and non-teaching activities in two colleges of education in Saudi Arabia (King Faisal University in Al-Hasa and King Abdulaziz University in Al-Madinah). Also their definition of productivity and the factors that affect their productivity were investigated. The sample of the study consisted of 103 faculty members from the two colleges mentioned. The Faculty Career Survey which was developed by three American scholars (Schuttenberg, Patterson, and Sutton) was adapted as the study instrument.
