In this report, we presented a case with multiple metastatic abscesses due to Staphylococcus aureus. A 51-year-old man with diabetes mellitus was admitted to emergency department because of fever, tachycardia, tachypnea and alteration in mental status. Methicillin susceptible S. aureus was isolated from all of the blood cultures of the patient with sepsis. Magnetic resonance imaging and bone scintigraphy showed that bilateral gluteal abscess, psoas and epidural abscess and vertebral osteomyelitis. Debridement and surgical drainage of the abscesses were done. Patient received adequate antibiotic treatment and discharged without complications
