In the last years robotics has attracted attention of professors and students at IFPB. The institution has promoted many practical activities related to robotics as a central theme, among these activities, stand-out robotics competitions at the institution or other educational centers, in which teams are encouraged to create robots that can solve some proposed problems inspired in practical daily challenges. In this sense, robotics can be a practical tool that enables people to apply and integrate knowledge learned in class, developing technical skills, leadership, management and work team abilities, for these are basic requirements to the labor market.
