The aim of our study was to evaluate the changes of IOP during laparoscopic surgery in pediatric patients.We enrolled thirty-six patients, ranging in-between 15 months-16 years, undergoing elective abdominal surgery. Eighteen received laparoscopic surgery (LS) and eighteenlaparotomy surgery (LT). In the LS group, IOP was measured before and after induction, during mechanical ventilation, after established pneumoperitoneum, in the Trendelenburg position after 5, 10 and 30 min (T5, T10, T30), and at extubation time.
