The main objective of this study is to examine the present and future state of blended learning (BL) for adults in workplace-learning settings. Data were collected in numerous areas from various databases and sources for the period from 1965 to June 2018. This topic was found mainly in the fields of education and business. The data collected were thoroughly analyzed and evaluated, and quality assessment of the literature was carried out. Major findings of the studies were analyzed. Results: 17 peer-reviewed articles were selected, 10 surveys, five qualitative studies, two case studies, and one randomized control trial, which included studies carried out in different parts of the world.
