Adhesion of dental materials to the dental hard tissue is dependent on a number of factors relating both to the material used and the type of approach to dental substrate. The purpose of this study was to analyze the size of the hybrid layer (HL) in evaluated sealed oclussal surfaces by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Method: The study was realized in vitro on a sample of 16 human teeth premolars and molars extracted for orthodontic or periodontal reasons.
