Body ideals in Norwegian exercise- and diet blogs This article describes the body ideal promoted in a Norwegian exercise- and diet blog community and how bloggers relate to it. Using a critical discursive approach, analysis of three weeks of entries from eight selected blogs of young women revealed that the blog community’s body ideals and body practices are influenced by a fitness culture. These blogs, however, divulge the downsides of the body project, describing a lifestyle of strict body regimes and the ambivalent feelings that arise in pursuit of the perfect body
