Carried by their patriotic ideal, their passion for the Enlightenment, or simply cherishing the hope of making large profits, those who chose (or tried) to be useful to the press in the Spain of the 18th Century left having ideas in order to come up to the public’s expectations, and even to give rise to new needs.
