Background/Aims: The prevalence of diabetes mellitus is increasing. Little is known about the difference in Helicobacter pylori eradication rates between diabetic patients and non-diabetics. The aim of this study was to compare the eradication rate between diabetic and non-diabetic patients. Materials and Methods: The medical records of patients who received a proton pump inhibitor (PPI)-based eradication therapy between 2012 and 2015 were retrospectively reviewed. All the patients underwent endoscopic biopsy to confirm H. pylori infection.
