The fable is one of the most popular genres and was adaptedthroughout medieval literature. This meantdifferent types of texts had to fit into the moral content of a larger work in which they featured in the 14th-15th centuries. An example of this is “The Lion’s Share” fable whose exemplary story can be seen in different Hispanic medieval works and especially in preaching guides
