Studi Analisis Penyebab Runway Excursion di Indonesia Berdasarkan Data Komite Nasional Keselamatan Transportasi (KNKT) Tahun 2007-2016

Aircraft accidents can occur either on the air or the land, the accidents can occur inside or around the airport and also outside the airport. The aircraft accident inside the airport that often happens is in the runway area when the plane take off or landing. In this research will be discussed the incident of runway excursion that investigated by KNKT during 2007-2016 period. The purpose of this study is to identify and analyze the characteristics of runway excursion events investigated by KNKT. This study is a retrospective study of secondary data from aircraft accident reports collected by KNKT and the results are analyzed descriptively. The analysis show that the highest flying phase of runway excursion occurred in the landing phase of 95 cases, with the highest occurrence was the incidence of veers off was 73 cases, and the highest runway excursion type was AOC 121 of 48%. The most frequent area of ​​runway excursion accidents is the region of Papua was 38 cases. The analysis also shows that the highest accidental runway excursion rate occurred in 2011, while the lowest occurred in 2009. Kecelakaan pesawat dapat terjadi baik di udara maupun di darat, untuk kejadian di darat kecelakaan dapat terjadi di dalam atau disekitar bandara maupun diluar bandara. Lokasi kecelakaan pesawat yang berada di dalam bandara yang sering terjadi adalah di daerah landas pacu atau runway baik pada saat pesawat akan melakukan lepas landas maupun pada saat melakukan pendaratan. Pada penelitian ini akan dibahas kejadian runway excursion kecelakaan pesawat terbang yang diinvestigasi oleh KNKT selama kurun waktu 2007-2016. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengidentifikasi dan menganalisa karakteristik kejadian runway excursion yang diinvestigasi oleh KNKT. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian retrospektif data sekunder dari laporan kecelakaan pesawat terbang yang dihimpun oleh KNKT dan hasilnya dianalisa secara deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan hasil untuk fase terbang kejadian runway excursion tertinggi terjadi pada fase landing sebesar 95 kasus, dengan kejadian tertinggi adalah kejadian veer off sebesar 73 kasus, dan tipe operasi yang tertinggi mengalami runway excursion adalah AOC 121 sebesar 48%. Wilayah yang paling sering terjadi kecelakaan runway excursion adalah wilayah Papua sebesar 38 kasus. Hasil analisa juga menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kecelakaan (rate of accident) kejadian runway excursion tertinggi terjadi pada tahun 2011, sedangkan yang terendah terjadi pada tahun 2009
