This article is devoted to the analysis of the images of the nature in the Pasternak's novel Doctor Zhivago. On the material of the selected fragments the author proves, that the images of the nature in this novel symbolizes a single situation. Images of the nature are revealing hidden meanings of a specific episode of the novel and so they become the instrument of psychological analysis
