Super alloys are alloys which has the resistance of high temperatures. In addition to that, super alloys are widely used in aerospace, aviation industries, also in gas turbines because of their high creep strength and high corrosion resistance. In this study, cutting forces obtained as a result of turning of the Hastelloy X super alloy were evaluated. The effects of different cutting parameters and the cryogenic treatment applied to different cutting tools (PVD, CVD coated) on cutting forces were investigated.
