The paper presents algorithms for fault tolerance evaluation which will be applied in a new computer-aided design system for SpaceWire onboard networks. We give general notions on fault tolerance for onboard networks, and introduce our algorithm for evaluation of fault tolerance in SpaceWire networks. Finally we address our future work direction on network topology transformation for fault tolerance
