One hundred years have passed since one of the most terrific conflicts that history has ever known. From Naulila to Flandres the Portuguese participation was involved in an intricate set of shenanigans till the German declaration of war, which proved to be a disastrous experience. With the Great War, international socialism was fractured around the defense or condemnation of the conflict.
