The presence of regional metastases of laryngeal cancer differs depending on the location of the tumor and has an influence on the overall survival. The aim of this work is to analyze the frequency and characteristics of regional metastases T1 and T2 of laryngeal carcinoma in relation to the primary tumor location, and their effect on the overall survival. A retrospective study, conducted in the period between 2002 and 2012, that analyzed 445 patients who were surgically treated for laryngeal cancer of T1 and T2 category.
