The paper presents analysis of limit state of bearing capacity and reliability of masonry structures. A masonry made of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) with mortar for thin-layer joints was proposed. The basic calculations were carried out using the procedures available in the Eurocodes. A comprehensive analysis of the work of the masonry element was carried out. The numerical FEM model of the masonry member was made. A quantitative assessment of the safety of the structure was made by calculating the reliability index.
