Positive or negative peace? Reflections of leaders and leaders of victims of the armed conflict in Soacha, Colombia

In the current post-agreement or post-conflict framework in Colombia, the voices of the victims are fundamental in the construction of peace that is stable and long lasting, The article gathers reflections made by leaders of the municipality of Soacha about the peace they desire and find possible in Colombia. The analysis is carried out with reference to two conceptions of peace, the negative and the positive; the first understood as the absence of direct violence, while the second, a broader perspective, incorporates. the need to promote human rights, justice and equity. (Muñoz, 2001). Undoubtedly, the victims feel more identified with the positive conception of peace even when they recognize that the cease-fire with the FARC_EP group will benefit many regions of the country, the current conditions do not allow them a decent life, either because of a precarious socioeconomic situation, or the neglect on the part of the government to guarantee integral reparation to them
