El sermón como instrumento de intermediación cultural. Sermones del federalismo cordobés, 1815-1852

This paper reviews sermons delivered by the Church in Córdoba in the first half of XIX century, based on three of their characteristics: as information channels, through the explanation of the social, political and celestial world; as an ecclesiastical and political tool, and, finally, as the symbol of the changes developing outside of local jurisdictions. Here, I selected twelve sermons that were produced by Córdoba’s clergy during the times of Federalism, between 1815 and 1852, their fundamentals constituting the moral base of the political system
