Now is the time for global information systems that would abolish space and would entail the end of the territories, or so are we asked to believe. Several sites on the internet blossoming and advertising the idea of the creation of brand new on-line States, with their own laws, constitution and citizenship. These sites could express the desire for a new kind of political community. However, one has to realize that even the most serious of these sites only conveys very classical territorial images rather than developing this new concept of virtual State
