The article deals with new night clubs in France and Italy around the mid-1960s. From the Golf Drouot in Paris to the Piper Pluriclub in Turin, they were all influenced by the new Anglo-Saxon musical, fashion and cultural trends, and designed in cooperation with the new Radical Architects, and the Kinetic, Pop and ‘Arte Povera’ artists. The night clubs provided their young peers with places where to gather and share their interests, helping to shape the new young Yéyé and Beatnik generation, soon politically and socially engaged
