The main objective of this work is to provide an assessment of international migration into the Brazilian Legal Amazonia, a little explored area in scientific papers dealing with population studies, with a particular emphasis on migrants from the major emitters of people for this region, with borders with the Amazonia, especially Peru and Bolivia. According to Census data, from 2010, of the nearly 30,000 foreign immigrants into the Legal Amazonia for that year, 31% were from these two countries.
