Buildings in Poland are very energy-consuming, especially during their exploitation. As a result, there is a need for establishing new systems and technologies which could increase energy efficiency in this sector. One of the most important reasons is the lack of technologies and systems dedicated to managing energy and utilities for buildings or building compounds in urban areas. Wide implementation of these kinds of systems, which will operate based on measured on-line data, will ensure a decrease in energy and utilities consumption.
