Regional Library in Modern Conditions of Development of Internet Space

The author of the article, referring to the Strategy of the development of the library matter of Ukraine the «Quality changes of libraries for providing of steady development of Ukraine», draws attention to the activity of the regional libraries, and, in particular, introduction of information and communication technologies in library practice. The importance of bringing libraries to the Internet, that will allow to extend considerably the spectrum of services of these structures, and to revive the libraries’ contacts with the authorities and business representatives is pointed out. The libraries activity in realization of the «Bibliomist» program is specially enlighted. The author draws attention to the necessity of the libraries’ technical base expansion that will allow to extend the spectrum of activity of these structures due to creation of own web-sites, and possibility to advertise the services in social networks
